I have their 3-6" (HCL), UCA's, 2.0 Reservoir shocks & Rare Parts Gen II tie rods installed around 2500 miles in my 2015 DD/WT. I've got a little over 9K miles on the truck now and have absolutely love the ride. I went through Performance Lifts to order everything, they are good to go!
Anyone ever get the 3-6? I was thinking about getting it and running it at 3" as a leveling kit. My truck sits 3" lower in the front and I don't want to crank the bars that much with a leveling kit. I saw a member on here had the 4" cognito, turned it down to about 3 and wasn't happy with the ride. Just trying to get some ideas.
Did you ever get the 3-6" cst and set it to 3" front and stock height rear? Wanting to do the same. I have a cognito leveling kit up front right now and want to fix my cv and tie rod angles. And have a better ride.
Looking at this same kit. Been talking with SoCal Super Trucks about CST 3-6" lift with new CST's UCA.
A little pricey, especially with the custom shocks I am looking to purchase with the lift.
I really like the CST quality. Looking for feedback.
i guess i missed the part where you previously said you had it. can you take some pictures of it? what do you have it set at? are the factory jounce bumpers touching the lower control arms? How are the CV angles?
I can take some photos tomorrow if there are anything specific that you want to see. The standard kit comes with a 1" block. I added keys & the 2" inch block to the kit when I ordered because I wasn't sure how the stance would turn out. Additionally, I was ultimately trying to eliminate any trimming with a 12 inch wheel.
So you must have it at 5 or 5.5. Pictures of the forward jounce bumpers in relation to the lower control arm and a picture of the CV angles would be great.
Any funny noises or does the front sound solid when you hit a bump or go over a speed bump?
Funny you mentioned that, I have been experiencing a clunking noise out of the driver side when going over a rough surface. Another forum member has provided a few solutions to try (i.e. Zip tie Intermediate Steering Shaft-ISS, steering stabilizer or PISK kit)
3/6 that trucks looks bad ass. I like the looks of the CST stuff and the way its built but they sure reflect all of that in the price lol. This kit being a 3-6 you are almost maxed out at 5" of lift correct? it might just be the pictures but your cv angles look pretty steep. Thats what my angles look like on my levelled LML and it rides like a bag of donkey d***s. Not a fan of huge lifts but going to be doing something in the 5 inch range. so far it's looking like a ntbd RCX
Do you think this kit would function at about 3-3.5 inches? I found a dealer about an hour away and for 3500 installed, I want to make sure it's what I want lol
Im interested in running the CST 3-6 kit at 3-4" as well but I would like to hear some experiences and see some pictures before I purchase it as it is pretty pricey.
Not many guys running this lift. I want it as well. Alligator had it 20% of on black friday. Was under 1600 for the kit with out shocks. I'm kicking myself now haha
Ordered my CST 3-6 lift today. CST UCA, steering stabilizer, fox 2.0 remote
reservoir shocks with compression adjusters. Still deciding on the CV driveshaft and linkage. I am looking about a month away, as Fox needs to build the shocks.
Tires and wheels will have to wait.
