Depends on what you need it for. The Honda has a fuel pump which allows you to run an auxiliary tank.
The predator would get me about 6-7 hours running a small space heater at night.

I had pretty good luck with it for a “cheap” generator. Iv started it as low as -12f with out much struggle. I put about 1000 hours on it, changed oil about every 100 hours.
The first one ended up failing during a rainy week, circuit board gave out which was no surprise because I never covered it up.
HB gave me a new one since I bought the warranty. New one never made it to the truck though since winter was over. I just use it for odd jobs and camping now.

My dad got the bigger one for his camper. So far that’s worked pretty well too. It ran the a/c with out losing any voltage, so long as fridge was set to propane.

Oh I would never put that many hours on it. Just thought having one would be handy for when/if the power goes out just to alternate running the couple refrigerators and freezers. My dad has a very nice Honda with a 9500 watt winco on it I've used a few times. Problem is its heavy so I need the skidloader to get it in back of my truck, and its 15 miles away, also it's pretty thirsty. Lol

Should be perfectly good for that. I maybe use it every 6 months now and it still always starts right up.

Garage
I have the big one. It ran for 4 days straight during the last power outage. Then a few hours a couple days later when it went out again. It was run for several other power outages before that. Always starts right up. I change the oil every power outage. It is a lot better than I expected for HF. It's the 8500 watt one. It will run my fridges and all the lights and stuff as well as the water heater.

Now that's just wrong. Make you bring your own jug to transfer it from the hose to the tank.

However, that's to keep people from filling them in the vehicle. Kerosine is like Diesel, hard to ignite, but they are just trying to keep people from getting into the bad habit of filling fuel tanks in vehicles.
