Wierd Slip/jerk in reverse on new tranny

Getting a very sudden jerk when I put the truck in reverse, foot on the brake, the minute I take my foot off and roll. The truck jerks hard. First few times it happened I thought I hit another car.

I can re create it everytime too. I can go in reverse. it jerks. stop. drive. reverse jerk.

Any thoughts? brand new tranny from Mike L. has about 5000 miles

Same thing happened with my Mike L. I believe it was a matter of the increased line pressure or something to do with the valve body but I don't remember.

There was no fix. I had to live with it. I usually hear about the hard shift from park to reverse or park to drive ONLY with built transmissions.

Like put it in reverse and coast backwards and feels like you hit a curb?

I believe it does have something to do with the higher line pressure mine is a 2013 with a stock transmission and a new TCM from Kennedy diesel ever since I changed out the TCM that has updated programming by Kennedy it has done the same exact thing. I have noticed however with mine it's not all the time and as long as I hold the brake put it in reverse and wait a few seconds before I let off the brake it usually doesn't happen if I put it in reverse and then let off the brake right away that's when I feel the sudden jerk. It almost feels like it's slipping. The truck starts moving stops and then starts moving again.
