AllStar Transmissions

Has anyone ever heard of Allstar transmissions in Denver? I’m looking for an oem replacement and they have a very good price on a rebuild.

04.5 CHEVY 2500HD CC/SB LT-Green, 2" Leveling Kit, Bilsteins, Wicked Wheel 2, Boost Stick, 4" MBRP Turbo Back w/ 5" tip, LMM Resonator Box, Airdog LP, PCV reroute, Airbox Mod with AFE Filter, LBZ MP, Fleece Tapshifter, EGR Delete, Edge CTS2, Mishimoto Trans Cooler, EFI Live Tuned/ Idaho Rob,5% tint, 260K and still going strong,

All I can tell you for sure is they aer not on Allison's website as a Repair/Service/Rebuild list.

Id make sure they are very familiar with the Allison. Im no transmission expert but if I recall some have had troubles with remans from some who are not intimately familiar with the Allison.

Shipping could get expensive if your not close by.

I think most shops could do a OEM rebuild. Its when you want to modify it, that you need to choose your builder wisely...

Big difference in "Rebuild" by just putting clutches and seals-- or "upgrade" by adding extra clutches and improving the shift and fluid pressure-- and a better converter.

Chevy 04.5 LLY, 2X, shell, XDR, MikeL Heavy duty up-grade, 6spd, TransGo, deep pan, de-badged, 65 Gallon replacement Aero tank, LBZ-mp, Kennedy pump, shimmed, Pre-fuel filter, tow mirrors, BU cam, gauges, GPS, Sirius, bags, custom grille, fender vents, HD trans cooler- Curt front hitch, footwell lights, load lights, Studs, head gaskets.
