Limitless diy kit LML

if I were to buy a limitless diy kit and 1078 TC for an LML, what would be the average price of the install? I’m looking to see if it’s just better to outright build the trans or to order the parts and have someone install them ? Any info would be great thanks.

Since you’re in California you should contact Mike L at Inglewood Transmission. He is one of the best there is and he can have it done in a day for a fair price. Most shops would rather install their own parts, so you might have a hard time finding one to install Evan’s kit. I have heard it is a great kit though.

You could buy a pre-built crate trans and have it shipped to you rather than a kit. Shipping is actually pretty reasonable

No it's not.
5 to 6 hundred dollars round trip to CA plus a core charge.

Round trip shipping to central MN from Evan was $400. No core charge, that was almost 2 years ago so maybe things changed? But I guess I thought that was reasonable enough....
