2006 Trans Build Question!

Hey guys, so I’m building my truck for 700(ish)HP. Was planning on starting with the transmission and TC.

If I do that, will the truck be safe to drive while I’m saving up for the turbo/CP3/injectors?

I have Danville EFI, so I can always have them tune it as needed until the supporting modifications are made. But I’m having trans issues, so figured I’d start there.

Thanks in advance.

If you're asking if you can put a built trans in a stock truck then yes you can.

Yeah that’s basically what I’m getting at. I just don’t know what all needs to happen for it to pair up happily.

Nothing really. Just let mark know you have a built trans so he can update the tunes and that's it. It is definitely a good idea to start with the transmission. With an lbz I would keep it around 600s. The lbz pistons dont generally like much more than that. I'd start saving for a built engine too.
