Thanks for that Mike!
Just verifying that my glow plugs would be covered as part of a "special adjustment"... I havent hit 120k yet.

Below is the condition from the Special Policy -

On some 2010-2012 model year Chevrolet Silverado HD and GMC Sierra HD or 2011-2012 Chevrolet Express and GMC Sierra HD vehicles equipped with a 6.6L Duramax Diesel engine (RPO LML, LGH) the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) may illuminate due to a condition with the glow plugs. When diagnosed, replacement of one of the engines glow plugs may be required. No drivability issues are generally associated with this issue, but harder starting in cold ambient temperatures may be noted.

If your truck is falling within these guidelines then yes it should be covered. The dealer will most likely quote you diagnosis to verify. If it is verified then there would be no out of pocket expense for diagnosis or repair.

Do you have further questions I can answer?

Mike

Someone on Facebook posted a set of rpo codes showing an lml with a gt5 code (4.10 gears). Quick google of the vin number and one of your posts showed up. Looks like GM misprinted your rpo sheet, or you have the super rare factory 4.10s. lol
