That looks very clean and user-friendly.
I did order the cargo tie down hooks so not sure if those will interfere with the setup.
How much was your bed cover?
I've been eyeing this one

I used a bakflip on a couple 1500's we had around here. (same one reused on more than one truck)
Didn't bother me at first, but I grew to dislike having to open tailgate unlatch and also needing to close tailgate before closing cover.
Another plus is not being able to see into ox when flipped open.
One downside is the box that they roll into do take some space in upper front of bed.
Anyway, have switched to Retrax -- but not the model usmarine2001 is using. Had one on the 2018HD. Of course it couldn't be moved to T1 1500, so sold it and got another of same model.

Retrax has the RetraxONE polycarbonate series and the RetraxPRO aluminum series.
Both are available in powered and manual versions. Afaik, the side rails are the same for both.
I find them easier to slide from the side than it was to flip all the bakflip sections all the way to the front.
Poly series looks basically like usmarine2001's picture, but the slats are narrower.
