Stopped in and bought a fuel filter and they sold me a Baldwin BF7827 this time. Last time they sold me a NAPA 3960. Anyway, this new one is a metal one similar to the original factory installed filter. My truck is a 2009 Duramax.
Well, this evening I tried to install it and it would not go on...
Can anyone tell me the difference between the old style fuel filters (made by AC Delco) that do not have the stepped sides vs. the new one that do?
(Outside of offering more clearance, that is . . .)
Anything wrong with using up my stock of old style filters?
