fuel additives discussion

Can anyone recomend a good additive that i can get at any local parts store. Somebody told me that is why my injector pump went out cause it wasnt getting enough lubrication. And i dont want t to happen again. Ant info would help THANKS!!!

What if any alternative fuel, additive, lubricant or? can be used safely without voiding warranty in an 07-08 LMM Duramax to improve fuel economy and/or reduce out of pocket costs?
