I have to tell you, I'm a Ford guy looking at buying a GMC...what is the world coming to?

So I stumbled across an '01 2500HD with 71200 miles on it. It's a crew cab, SLE...really nice truck. The dealer's asking 24K for it (a little high in my and Edmunds estimation). I took it for a ride and was really impressed.

My questions are what should I be looking for buying one of these and what kind of mileage can I expect to get? (I've heard 20+ on the highway empty) I'm going to use it for commuting (84mi round trip) and hauling our 30' camper (about 7K loaded).

i bought my 01 last november and i love it, i get about 18 on the highway and i am just running a programmer on stage 1 w/ stock everything else. i know some of the 01's had problems with the injectors, the guy i bought my truck from had them replaced under warranty. if they haven't already been replaced, GM has a 200,000mi/7year warranty on them i believe.
