I have my second Duramax, so far better off than the first, The truck is equipped with the dual tanks, Not liking them at all, Would it be easier to find a tank and everything, from a single tank truck, or can I just unhook rear tank? Would this mess with my guage or does just the front tank have a guage, and the back one pumped into the front?

Any help would be amazing, thanks

IF it works the same way as he 88-98 trucks,( and if i remember correctly as its been a few years) it gradually pumps the fuel into the front tank from the rear tank and the fuel in the rear tank has no bearing on what the gauge reads.
