I’m new to the duramax world and have an 02 2500 Silverado just found out the transfer case is leaking when I went to drive today I know of the pump rub issue but don’t know much of the signs from it I have some pictures and to me it looks like the where the 2 cases meet the main gasket is leaking need some advice ASAP please

Your best bet is to clean it with Brakleen (GREEN CAN) and then drive a bit and start looking for leak origin... with it leaking and driving for a while it blows all over and hard to tell

Ok I’ll do that tomorrow and see the result anyone know where it will rub though on the transfer case from pump rub seeing a lot of confusing answers
