I have a 2004 2500HD, after you have been driving it for about 30 to 45 minutes it will die, just like you turn the key off, it will turn over but not start, if you let it set for about 2 hours it will start. I have changed the fuel filter and bleed it several times but it doesn't change anything.
You probally have a edge juice tuner. Remove that and give it a shoot. When the tuner looses track of the crank shaft sensor it shuts the engine down as a saftey. Common problem with the edge juice.
it is the Juice, I'll try that, I think it has been on the truck since the truck was new.
If it were a fuel pressure problem woulddn't it give a fault code, it has no codes showing.
I unhooked the Edge, ran it for about 2 hours it was fine, I shut it off and restart just like new. I hooked the Edge back up, wouldn't start, unhooked it, started perfect. You guys are the shit, I really appreciate the help.
I didn't figure anything out, I just went through the motion you described, I really appreciate it, this truck has to be driven from Florida to Utah in a couple weeks it would have been a very long trip with driving 45 minutes and waiting 2 hours. Again thanks,
my edge did the same thing, they have really good customer service, i took it off and shipped it out to them, a week later it was back to me and i haven't had a issue since
