Need Help...duramax will start some days and won't others. When turn key on, just clicks all the dash lights go crazy. Disconnected batteries for two minutes, got back in, truck fired up. Some days truck will fire up but all the radio settings are gone. Is this a bad ground, fuse? Any ideas???:help

this may sound funny, but i had a python security system do that to my last truck

could be a bad ground. i would deff check your batt connections. your BCM could be at fault also due to your are losing your vehicle settings

Do you think if we hooked it up to run diagonis that it would see if the BCM is going out, sensors etc?

BCM control is threw the tech 2 only which sucks.

Hmm. if this was going bad, could that be why the change oil soon is coming on even though we changed the oil 2800 miles back? Do you know how much a BCM cost to replace? Can it be done at home or does it have to go to the shop?

to tell yah i am not sue how much a BCM is. but i know that it will have to be programmed if you get a new one. the BCM controlls all your body functions like seats windows and radio settings and all that good stuff
