well, I can not drive this. I get pulled over.

 

But it moves and drives just not legally. If you checked fuses and bulbs, go ahead and put a volt meter on the running light wires, if you dont have one follow the wires and look for breaks/ frays with a truck that old its a good possibility you could have had an animal chew up your wires

 

paint looks immaculate in that (1) photo!! for 29 years old!

 

Where I'm from my truck would be a pile of dust after 29 NY winters hahaha!

 

Check for power to tail light circuit. Tail lights should be the brown wire. Test first at the tail lights, then trace wiring along frame rail. Wire is probably cut somewhere.

@jwcgmc1985 , yes it is an amazing truck so far ( except for the tail light thing has 70k original miles and everything on it is original including the old stereo. i love the color! and that its diesel. will post pictures soon.

 

solved:
issue: the wiring is brand new but the person who had done it, did not clip in one of the wires
