Think they made the rear diff vent tube long enough? Lol

Also applying some rubbing compound on the back if the cab while its off. Elbow grease city! Need to invest in a quality variable speed orbital buffer soon.

Got throw a pic of this in there as well because of truck porn.

Sunny and in the 60's here today. Enjoying my social distancing fellas.

Check out Meguiars DA power system. They make a unit that connects to a drill. Pretty handy.

I’d go either a griots gg6 or the new g9 Russ Great tool and localish company to you

Edit. Apparently the gg6 has been replaced by the g9. Get a 5” backing plate and 12 or so pads. I use lake country mfg pads. Can get 12 pack of them on auto geek for pretty cheap especially with a 25% off sale. I get 6 orange and 6 white. If you want to do it all in one day I’d pick all one color. Orange is more aggressive and white is less aggressive.

Can use compound or polish on either pad and it will vary the cut of the liquid with the pad. Let me know if you got some questions

I just did my truck this weekend. 12 pads would have helped. A good AIO polish and you will be good Russ. I don't think you need a 2 step sinct you take care of your truck. GM paint is tough. Get the orange pads. And I agree with Brock. 5inch backing plate gives you more control nd power for the curves. I have a gg6.

Well our Gov has closed schools and non essential business till the 29th. Thank the Lord I have one of the best men out there that I work for. Can't explain what a relief it is to know he has my back through this. Very grateful.
In other news the LLY is NOT leaking! Holy crap what a relief - and some non mechanical people were starting to comment. Made some progress on the LML today. Holy mother - more electrical connecters, coolant lines - this thing is like a Westinghouse science contest! I'm taking lots of pics - but honestly don't see it going back together (never say never). My Pastor is actually stopping by tomorrow to drop something here - think I'll have bless the truck and the growing pile of extras.
Have a good night and stay safe fellas

Back in the day, I found that taking a leak between the drive axles worked pretty well.
In WA that's a $1000 ticket. As is pissing in a bottle because it's the bio hazard waste when you get rid of it. They have signs at all the scales warning of that. I told a scale cop for a $1000 ticket I better be peeing on him through his car window. He said that would be much worse than a $1,000 ticket. Part of the fun of living in a communist state. Oh but if you are homeless it's all good. Even dropping a deuce on the sidewalk. Just don't let the working man who pays taxes do it. Can you tell I don't like this state. As soon as I retire I am out of here.

Was going to suggest Griots as well since they’re local (and they have a thing for red vehicles too). ;) Maybe you could find your way into their catalog.

I have the G9, it’s a nice machine.
