I am wanting to put a set of 2" blocks in the back of my truck, but figured i would need longer u bolts. Does anybody know how long i need? where is the cheapest place to buy the blocks? Also anybody with the 2" block and 3" keys setup with pics? Thanks

Just measure your U-bolts now, and add 2 1/2 inches to that length.. easiest way right there, you always want to get them a little longer, so you can cut them down if needed. I know around here I go to a local truck stop that fixes big rigs and has a driveline shop, etc. And they can make a set of U-bolts for about 35 bucks. Check out your local truck shops.

Check under your truck now since I think there already is a block. You might need to remove that block and get a 4 inch then get loner U bolts and just measure the old ones on the truck.

Or you could buy a kit with everything.

Hey towmaster a guy in another post said our trucks don't have blocks stock. I am the 2nd owner of my truck but it has a small block in the back. It looks stock to me. Any thoughts. I want to add a 2 inch block in the back so what should I buy a 4 inch block and remove the one that is in there? :help
