Hello,
My name is Ed, and I own a 04.5 LLY Duramax with 132k miles. I’ve been doing a bit of research on the LLYs, and I’m considering upgrading the turbo mouthpiece to an LBZ MP soon. Also I am considering getting an S&B Cold Air Intake, but don’t know if I should get an LBZ or LLY Intake considering that I may be putting an LBZ mouthpiece? Thank y’all.

I replaced my turbo MP with an LBZ and kept the LLY airbox about 10 years ago, didn't want to rescale the MAF for the LBZ box/intake. Never had any issues.

Oh nice, did you keep the OEM Air Filter? I’m considering getting an S&B Cold Air Intake, but will an LLY S&B Cold Air Intake fit the LBZ MP?

That’s actually my second option right there, the S&B MP and the CAI.
