Change the FPR on the cp3. See if that helps.
New Bosch FPR put in last month when the truck was surging at idle.
I have a good hunch for this issue, have a stored code for open EGR, I command it to 30% and it will only go to 22% and then bounce all around from 15-23%.
Command it closed and it only goes down to 3%. So this is causing low boost but not low enough to cause a code. The truck is great and has power when "cold" will get 15-20psi of boost with ease, but once the EGR cycles for an open loop / closed loop it looses power and won't build boost above 8% without me putting the pedal through the floor
