right now the family business (heavy steel fabrication) has one truck...a 2005 GMC 3500 stake body dura (overloaded sitting there empty) we used to also have a 3500 crew cab long bed dura and 4500 Kodak... both of which we sold.
long story short we are getting more work in the door and getting rid of all the old tired and improper equipment.
so after wadding through all the marketing BS on Chevys website it seems the new 3500 is going to be one mean machine...the question is will it hold up to constant MAX GCVW towing with all the emissions BS still on it? And is it really ever a good idea to buy the first year of anything?
we are thinking of one regular cab dually with a 30ft flat deck tri-axle 21,000 trailer for moving lighter and smaller loads around and a nice tandem axle heavy day cab Pete with a double drop deck trailer for the bigger stuff to save on fright that we now farm out
