I've searched for this quite a bit and even on Google. Does anyone else notice their engine fan seems pretty loud when you first take off after the trucks been sitting and idling? For the first 30 seconds of driving or so the fans are making a loud roaring sound. Is this normal? 2015 duramax with 600 miles on it.

^^^Yep. Mine does it, not 100% of the time, but most of the time, no matter outside temps, a/c on or off. It sounds like a 747 flying treetop level. My boy was looking out the windows for the plane first time it did with him in it.

...funny thing is my '12 did not do this.
