As title mentions, where is the location of the Fuel Temperature Sensor on a 2015 LML.

I thought I found it but wasn't it. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your response. We found that out, finally. I did a CP3 conversion to my truck. Or should I say, my mechanic (George) did a CP3 conversion on my truck and the truck was throwing DTC P0183. After searching and searching under the hood for the fuel temp sensor, George called Scott@SDP and found out that the fuel temp sensor is on the CP4. Needed to be removed from the CP4 and plugged back into the harness to complete the circuit and keep from throwing DTC P0183. The fuel temp sensor doesn't go back anywhere and is simply zip-tied to any near bracket or wiring harness.

Thanks Scott for your help.

That is good to know.

I wasn't sure if your truck had been modded or not, and almost posted up a tsb for 2015s (only) that have an issue with a harness rubbing the egr gasket, which will throw that code.....I bet it would be safe to bet that you probably don't have an egr anymore either. lol

Is there anyway one of y’all can take a picture of the plug so I know what I’m looking for just through this same code after some bad weather and thought I may had found it but unsure. Thanks In advance

I am getting the p0183 code and it just started after some really low temperatures and it heated back up again. I have unplugged what I do believe is the sensor and plugged back in. Have deleted code and it comes back the second Start up. Truck has efi live tune not sure on what kind bought it with it on there. Full Deletes and cat fuel filters. I’m stumped on what to do. Truck is a 2016

I just had this code thrown on my 2014 LML and the plug appears to be on the bottom of the driver's idea of the CP4. Just had my replacement come in from DHD and while looking at how to get to it, it appears you'll have to remove the intake and Y Bridge since it's so deep in the valley. The new replacement is a 19mm so if uoi could manage to get maybe a deepwell socket and a swivel you might be able to get to it. After pulling all of my injectors and lines out after a catastrophic CP4 grenade I think it'll be easier to just take out the intake and y Bridge since I've done it before. Hope this helps.

Well if it is mounted on the bottom of the CP4 as indicated on post 3 & 5, it has to be removed which is time consuming if all your emission equipment is intact. I doubt 18 hrs worth but that's probably what gm's book says it takes. First I'd find an independent shop that works on diesel PU's & make sure it indeed needs to be replaced.

I was thinking the dealership has so many hours required, as that is what it takes to train their new mechanics. Though, one of the reasons I went back to this particular dealership is because of their diesel tech at the time. He knew his stuff and solved some problems that others could not. There were multiple issues with DEF on the 2011 LML. First model with DEF. He probably moved on to better opportunities. Thanks for your input.
