I have a 2020 GMC Denali 2500HD (diesel) which has around 9600 miles. Last week I noticed some small spots in my garage, so I crawled underneath and found transmission fluid leaking. i called my local GM dealer and got it in. They said that it was a torque converter seal and they had the part ordered and should be able to get it in this week. I picked the truck up today and they told me that even though they replaced the seal, the leak was still there. So now, they have ordered a new torque converter with the assumption that the one that came on the truck from the factory must have been cast improperly causing the seal to not function properly.
Has anyone else has this issue? I am hoping once the new torque converter is put it, my issue will be resolved. I really don't want this to turn into an issue where my truck is in the shop every other week (even though it's all warrantied).
