Needed new wheels and tires and found a set of 2020 HD Custom takeoffs on Facebook. :grin2::grin2: Did a lot of research on tire size and am happy where I landed. I tow frequently so I have a pretty aggressive rake to my truck. Didn't have to adjust a thing. That being said, I'm missing some mud flaps up front from two separate Goodyear SRA blowouts (don't get me started on those junk tires). I think they will clear when I get them back on and will post back if they don't. Also its not the original bed so the stickers are wrong, it is a Z71 with Rancho shocks. LT275/65R20 Nitto Terra Grappler G2's (34"). A little tread noise on the highway but barely noticeable. Can't tell with the windows up. 2015 Chevy Silverado Z71 2500HD CCSB

Nice... Tell me about the blow outs? I'm on my second set of Goodyear SR-A as they won't balance and have vibrations... Only 1200 on truck... Waiting for dealer to install another set (NOT SR-A) on truck..

I don't know who to blame, GoodYear or GM for specifying a crap tire.
The tires our trucks come with is not the same tire you buy at the tire store.
My new truck had a cut sidewall right off the carrier, dealer was not able to get a matching tire. Same model (trail runner) on the sidewall, but siping different, 4/32 deeper tread, OWL which they wanted to turn in. Was not acceptable to me.
I have a set of Michelin Defenders coming.

On two separate occasions I've had them blow out on the highway. They were from the same set. Granted they had about 50k on them with decent tread left. But IMO multiple blowouts is unacceptable if they're in decent shape.

I recall someone telling me this before. Unfortunately my experience with them have made me distrust Goodyear, especially the SRA's.

On a separate note, the size I went with is the stock size for the Super Duty so the price is lower than other 34" varieties. Thought that was an interesting tip I read on here somewhere .

Also, ditto on the vibration. I got a second set after the blowouts on Craigslist. Went back and forth with the tire place about the balancing. They drove straight but had a noticable vibration. I actually got used to it so I forgot about it.

It is really annoying at first when you notice and feel the vibration. A buddy of mine got a set as well and we installed a couple of weeks ago, along with bed cover and gibson exhaust on his rig. He complained for a couple of days and he get used to it.
