Interested in how long it has/is taking for new truck orders. As of 02-13-21 there are part shortages and factory shutdowns due to this for many GM models. I do believe the truck plants are in overdrive pumping out trucks, however I have heard many having excessive delays and some cancelations. Please share your knowledge? I ordered a 2021 3500 CC AT4 LB on 01-25-21. Lucky for me it went into event code 2000 on 02-11-21 (accepted by GM).
For what it’s worth. Check this morning with GM chat on truck order status, representative gave me the status but said they are no longer providing a order status code. Anybody else getting the same response on your GM chat inquiries???
Tomorrow will be two weeks since my last GM chat order status update. Will find out tomorrow. My prior ones I had to ask them for a order status code/number.
Ordered mine a month ago. Everytime i check with the online chat its the same-we received your order from your dealer but no further info. Once i entered my order # wrong and they replied the same info. They reply a second after i send it so they cant be checking too much
Dealership placed order on March 22nd.... according to Chevy chat on April 26th it had a Target production week of May 3rd... May 4th i checked again and its back to 1100 order was accepted no target production week yet check back or contact your dealership for future updates. You would think customer sold trucks would get some sorta priority over other dealer stock trucks

So the truck I ordered has a production week...but due to the constraints they had to order basically a base model. Found out today it doesn't have the HD surround cameras either...
I think you did too...I haven't been offered one yet by the sales guy but I got 2 different dealers looking at it now...
What a time to get a new truck
Honestly getting a Denali is the best bang for the buck imo.. top resell valve and you get everything! Plus if your only gripe is that awesome grill there's so many aftermarket grills you can buy or even trade yours.
I hope its done!! Vroom.com just offered me $48,586 for my 2016 Chevy Silverado 2500 midnight edition today i paid $51645 out the door price almost 5 years ago i need my new truck now lol
I have no problem waiting it out for a loaded LTZ DRW Northsky Blue Met. I love the ugly grill! I will park it next to any Denali !!! Ha get you some of that!
Somebody going to have a great weekend! Two brand new Denali’s heading north bound on the 405 Renton Wa. Spilled my coffee trying to get the picture! There is hope for all of us waiting!
Two week GM chat update, still set for June 7 production week. Ive had this date and code 3000 since a week after I reordered a different truck. The day I reordered my dealer assured me they would notify me as soon as my order was accepted and had a build date. They never did. Just for the heck of it I emailed my dealer yesterday and said "hey could check on your end to see if my order has a built week of June 7?" These guys. Take advantage of the customer because of the type of market we are currently in.
I questioned the GM chat further and was able to confirm the status code as well.
Looks like GM just increased the MSRP on the 21 HDs. 500 on the AT4, 700 on the High County 3500 seem to be the largest. All others hit as well. You guys still in the build stage are going to be hit by this.
