Realized I posted this in the wrong forum. Maybe posting here will give me more traction. Help me figure out where these tunes are from.
Just purchased a 2021 l5p from a family member that claimed, " the hoods never been cracked and it's all bone stock". HE was the second owner. While testing it for a weekend before purchasing I was fumbling to get the cruise set while towing my fifth wheel and all the sudden the speedo went to 0mph while driving. I thumbed the cruise up and the speedo jumped in increments of 10 up to 50 i believe. Thumbed down, cruise coast, and it dropped the same way. I realized I hadnt had cruise enabled and everything went normal after enabling cruise. Later that weekend, after dumping the camper, it hit me that it probably has some kind of tuning. I verified this with my but dyno. Research has only shown me SOTF tunes that flash out what tune youre in using the glow plug light, none that use the speedo. IS this a clue to who tuned it? I havent been able to find any other identifying factors. Truck is all intact. I can verify at 0 its a slug and at 50 it is a rocket. I'm assuming I can tow heavy, 14klbs, in slot 1(0). It's a 3500hd dually. Also, disabling cruise and then hitting cruise cancel makes the speedo jump to the slot selected.0,10,20, etc.
