So its 470 hp 975 torque.....not the rumored 505 and 1050. They are saying a 25% boost in "low end torque".

I'm a little surprised. Thought they were going to out number Ford this time. Wonder what the blue oval has in store?

Other news, the 6.6 gasser gets the big 10 speed for 2024 and some new color and trim options. New interior on LT/SLE and up, same as half tons except the HD's keep the column shifter.

I want one, there I said it. 😱 Didn't care much for the current Chevy grill, but the '24 works. Glad to see they kept the column shifter.

As far as the power stuff. I dunno man, delivery to the pavement is more important. For my needs, current truck even has plenty of power.

One thing you might really like Tim, is that blue interior color. Not sure if it's just HC or not.

I'm sure Mr Banks will have a power adder available that will attain those power levels.

Ya, wondering what they did.
Well, I know but we will wait until GMC is released. Couple more weeks and I can describe the changes. You will see more on 29th. Chevy wanted to release in front of Ford's release tomorrow.

1050 ft lbs was never part of program. I think TFL needed to pay some bills.

This new L5P has a lot more power at low rpms, altitude, and high temperatures.

Its Ram you have to watch, cant see them keeping that chassis when the 1500 chassis has been out that long.
The HO has the most torque in the group.
GM was always the last to boost the power output.

As far as ford goes, I predict you will see a diesel electric hybrid, like the powerboost. That powerboost is a very impressive truck, if ford did the same to the diesel. Major game changer.
