What size is a 285x70-17? All I can find is that it is 32.7 tall. How wide is it? Will it fit right on a 10'' wheel.

The 285 number represents the width in mm. Divide that number by 25.4 and you'll get inches. The '70' represents the sidewall height as a percentage of the width, so 70% in this case. Should fit on 10" wide wheels, but I'm not an expert so I'll defer to someone smarter than myself on that one.

11.2 inches. Home - Discount Tire Direct has a tire size calulator on their site. I would think it would fit if you want it to. I would think a 8 or 9 inch wide would be better.

Yup there right! It will fit but they will fit funny lookin IMO. The side wall will go straight down and not roll or ouff out. It depends on what you like I suppose

I found some 33x12.50-17 Cooper Discovery STT's. Had em mounted up this morning. For the price, can't beat em. They fit my 17x10 wheels perfect.
