i noticed on my 2006 LBZ Gmc DUramax last night a 3 prong plug just like a household plug for a vacume or powerstrip, microwave etc just your standard house hold pug coming out of a hole on the left side under the hood near the headlight ,i followed the wire and it goes into a bundle /wire harness

I have no idea what this plug is for , maybe I have the first ever diesel/electric Durmax Plug in ??HAHA jk but yea not sure what it is

Wow thats crazy never knew that exsisted , on my 2004 lb7 I never noticed it does lb7 have em?

yea it is pretty cold here right now about 39-49 degrees at night , which is really cold when surfing in that weather in 55 degree water , our over populated crowds kind of make me wish i lived elsewhere haha

Every duramax has one. And a lot of guys won't bother with them till it gets down to below 15-20 degrees
