and sanding and painting and sanding and painting... and waiting and sanding and painting. FINALLY the finished product... NO CHROME! Except for the back (around the chevy bowtie and the edges of rear bumper/sensors) exhaust, and the steps!!!!

Have to admit thats part of the plan, either going to scrap or sell the stock steps and get black ones. As for rims and tires thats the next on my list. Going to do the same as i did to bumpers (exhaust) except with heat resistant paint, though idk if it would make a chrome black finish. Also need to tint front window.

I wasnt 100% sure that it wouldnt mess the back up sensors if i painted over it so I had to leave them chrome. As for the license plate, Im looking for one as of recently so I just keep it on until that fateful day :)

It wasnt easy by any means, but if I can do it anyone can. Just be very meticulous and tape tape tape, can never be too much tape. And make sure you prime it very well, starting with how finely you sand. Well worth the work in the end however.

It was my first time doing a project like this on my truck and admittedly made some mistakes. I sanded, used a adhesion/primer, sprayed ( rustoleum bed liner), let dry finely sanded, added 3 more coats, then used bed armor (4 coats) after that was dry. As for rims, i have no idea at all of what to go with. I know i want black chrome nothing bigger than 20. And all terrain tires, probably 30-33 range. Any suggestions that would look nice on my rig?
