So I am going to get a lbz mouthpiece and from my understanding the inlet is 4" so I was going to attempt to make my own intake but I want a metal one. So I was going to get a 4" 90 degree pipe off the mouthpiece into a straight 4" piece then another 4" 90 degree off that into the filter. Now my question is has this been done, and what kind of metal should I use?

If you increase the cross section of the intake pipe, where the MAF sensor is located, you will have to have the computer re-flashed.

GM change some in an effort to help the LLY cool, by installing the LBZ air filter assy, so GM has the information and can do the reflash.

They don't screw them up. They just make it throw a code. So if you are getting EFI then you can go bigger and account for the 5" intake
