Can I rebuild the 2 wheel drive one, then take bits off rearend of mine and put back onto 2 wd one before putting back into my truck. Thanks anyone

Thanks Mike. Have decided to just put my truck in for the 2 weeks and get it done. I was after saving a bit of downtime. But the secondhand trans is $AU6,200 then theres the $AU6,500 to put the kit in and I still don't know if they will do it right- its there first one, - so on top of the kit itself it would be costing me about nearly $US14,000 - so I will just wait the time out and hope. Probably would have been cheaper and better just to get a whole built trans sent out from you. - Remember I am in Oz -Regards Mick
Downtime

I just had Mike Lovrich at Inglewood Transmission (.com) do mine with a level 4 suncoast. Dropped it off in the morning, took the fam to Disneylsnd for the day and it was done that night. Nice job too. Told me he expected me to use and abuse it. He'd be dissapointed if I didn't. All part of the warranty. $4,500. Also answered all my dumb questions about limping and how it all works. Even my dealer and two mechanic friends couldn't answer. As for me, I want my truck off the road as much as possible!!:gearjamin:gearjamin:gearjamin:gearjamin
