IMO look at XRT or the blackmaxx by H&S. i have buddies that run both of thoes on there 08's an have yet to have one problem. I will be buying a blackmaxx for my 6.7 as soon as it is available.

Im pretty sure it does every time you start you have to turn the key on and wait for it to clear the code before you start it.

XRT or blackmaxx will be your best options..

we've tested on the 6.7 smarty, edge race, and XRT and hands down XRT wins with Smarty the worst
