Howdy All
Recently purchased a 2013 GMC 2500HD. Not my first diesel but it is my first Allison. Also the nicest vehicle I have ever owned BTW.
We are setting up to retire and do some light towing so the deep pan made sense. With just over 60K on the clock we are thinking that with some minor upgrades we should be in good shape to do the relatively simple towing that we have in mind.
So the pan swap brings the question. I have the Allison replacement gasket, does this gasket need any sealer added to ensure a no leak seal?
Thanks in advance.
Ron

Nope, just make sure everything is good and clean and torque it down properly.
