Okay guys this is my first Chevy so I want to know what is the best brand transmission oil to use I was looking into Mobil delvac for the tranny. And what is the best tranny filter? Thanks

I stopped by my local Allison dealer and picked up 3 gals of transynd for 37.50/gal, and the Allison spin on filter for 9.50. Also got a magnet for it just in case.

Any Allison Approved TES 295 ATF & Allison brand spin on filter. Like said above, visit your nearest Allison dealer or big rig parts store for the fluid & filter.

x2 on Transynd and Allison spin-on.

Found my magnet in the trash can . . . on the old filter.
