Im just curious if anyone knows the specs on a Factory lift pump out of a 2000 7.3 Powerstroke. Is it a flow through pump? I have one laying around here and I was going to put it in my truck, but if its not going to supply enough fuel to actually allow me to get more power when I get my EFI retuned then I'll just hold off for an aftermarket pump. What are your thoughts?

7.3 pump puts out over 50psi of pressure. From what I have read is a duramax fuel housing cannot take that pressure. On my old 7.3 I ran dual pumps. It was at 74 psi before I adjusted my regulator down to 60.

would it make sense to use an external regulator? If so, what PSI is a good place to start?

From the research I've done, and correct me if Im wrong, I think I should be around 12-15 psi and about 125 GPH flow rate Is this lift pump capable of getting to these specs?
Also, does anyone know if the powerstroke lift pump is a flow through pump?
