i have a rolled 01 duramax, i'm putting a 99 2500 6.0l cab on it.. anyone know how the wiring goes? will any of the 99 harness off the cab plug in? or should i swap out all of the under dash electronics, and use everything off the 01?..

There were some major changes in a few of those years, not sure which years exactly though. DuraToTheMax would be a good guy to talk to about it, if you can get a hold of him. Might want to check on Duramax Diesels for him or PM him on here, but I don't know if he still frequents DF very often.

Also, is this an 01 Gas truck?

Is the 99 an 88-2000 body style? ITs rare to find a 99 thats the 00+ body style.

The 99 is the same cab style as 00-07 but a 3 door..

Oh Ok....

You will probably have to replace alot of the wiring harness accept the BCM stuff could stay. But cluster with ECM and all that need swaped.
