Hey guys i just got my downpipe from rick at profab and i was all set ready to change them out, but then it all went downhill when i couldnt break loose the bolts holding the pipe to the turbo, even after spraying a penitrating oil on them. Do you guys have any helpful hints or ideas on how i can get them free? I thought maybe a flex head ratchet but how well that will work either. If you guys have any ideas for me it would be greatly appreciated!!:help Thanks ~Jake

There should only be a v-band clamp holding it to the turbo

LB7 downpipes are bolted on there is no v-band clamp. They are a serious pain in the ass to break loose i have done one on an lb7 and used a ratchet with a pivoting head and a large pipe. you may need to get them hot to break them loose

I was gonna heat them up but i didnt wanna ruin the seals in the turbo doing it so i was a little hesitant on that. I guess ill have to try a flex head ratchet and a helper pipe haha
