I'm thinking that I would like to have some kind of air compressor on my truck. I would just want to be able to air up a tire or something, possibly run some air tools. What would you guys recommend.

Thanks Much

I got a jump box with an air compressor built in. It is slow to fill one of our tires. But it is very portable and built to take a lickin'.

I would like to know this also. My idea was to go ahead and purchase the compressor that goes with my air bags and plumb in an outlet to use to fill tires if needed. Jus t an idea.

I have 2 via air 480c's mounted on the rocker and 2 5 gal tanks between the rails! Great for fillin up after airin down or soft terrain. Also made a 4 corner air sysyem to level out when towing and to stiffen up the fron end, and the always amusing fire truck horn!!!

I looked at the viair site. That stuff looks pretty good, but kind of expensive.
