I am considering purchasing a one owner '07 CC SB 4x4 LBZ with 83k miles. The truck meets my requirements and I believe only has one red flag--it doesn't appear that the transmission has ever been serviced. I am having a mechanic inspect the vehicle but would appreciate input on how concerned you think I should be about this. The truck is in Idaho and according to the current owner about 15k of the 83k miles were pulling a 10000 lb trailer.

Thanks for the input.

All I would do is pull the tranny pan plug, drain the fluid and refill, and change the spin-on filter. Not too much needed. Don't do a flush or anything like that, allison doesn't recommend flushing it.

it depends on how he drove it, mines not been serviced for 50k other than a spin on filter, but mines fried so its a waste, id just drive the truck and see how it runs if it shifts hard or has any slipping dont get it.
