My truck has a 6" lift with 35's and I just corrected the speedometer with the Quad Stealth 2 I just acquired. My shifts before were a little late and tho torque converter wouldn't lock up until around 57-58mph true speed, when the uncorrected speedo was reading around 51-52mph. I was hoping that correcting the speedo would change the actual speed that to torque converter would lock up at.

Does the Allison not use the speed as a reference signal to determine when to shift and lock the converter? Is EFI the only way I can adjust these points to compensate for the change in final drive ratio due to my larger tires?
