I got a 02 Chevrolet duramax. Just bought my fourth nbsu switch. All the other times I have got codes. This time I didn't but it still acts like the same problem ill put it in drive or reverse and it will pop out of gear if I don't accelerate immediately. Also clunks big time just after it goes In gear. And 2 and 3 don't light up all the time either. I put in a new nbsu switch and it didn't fix it this time. So I souldered new plugs on the harness still no fix. What else could it be I still suspect a electrical problem.

If you are running in lots of water/mud, that will affect the NSBU switch operation. It is exposed to the elements. Make sure it is sealed well.
Also you may have a problem with the wire connector harness.
