your being generous....i have not been on here in three days and there were only 5 new posts....:poke :rof .....these GM guys need to get on the bandwagon and at leas brag thier stuff up and try to keep up with the workhorse PSD:poke :popcorn

what are you sayin....i need to put a chip in a PSD....cause evidently there is no way to turn up a duramax.....weve been tryin:beer :popcorn

You Ford and Dodge guys talk a lot of trash....and I guess that's normal. Perhaps if you read around the forum a little you might read that post I made shortly after I joined back in Feb. If you park your vehicles, chain them together, and set the park brake I'll use my '02 2500 HD to pull you through the quarter with your locked tires smoking. Or maybe you'd better leave them in neutral so that I don't ruin those puny transmissions. If you wish you can put them facing away from me, in low lock and see what you get with your throttle to the floor. Maybe it's because I'm so confident because I already have done it. They haven't made a Cummins in a 3/4 or 1 ton yet that'll out pull my truck and the only Ford that'll come close is a 7.3 that belongs to a friend of mine. Too bad we don't live in the same local. I'd like to see you put your money where your mouth is.

Thanks, that felt good. Now I'll just go out and drive my truck like Hell just to get the rest of it out of my system. Duramax and Allison... another way to say pure testosterone that can be driven like Hell!

And oh yeah, all you guys with the expensive extensive upgrades... have you ever tried adding propane? Improves power, performance and fuel mileage.

Well finally someone came in and stood up for themselves!! Bowtie we actually don't try to talk any trash, we just wanted to get you guys talkin I mean we're all diesel guys no matter which auto maker built our trucks. That's good that your confident, just don't turn way cocky like all the cummins guys. I don't think the ford guys are cocky, even though I am one....at least not compared to the CTD guys. I know my truck is powerful with the little i've done, but I also know there's always someone out there with more power or more speed no matter what you have.

well....i wasnt here initailly to start trouble...but here it comes......i think when you call the ford tranny puny....and say yours is so much better....you should specify which tranny......i would dare you to try to find any consistant failures with the torqueshift they are putting behind the 6.0's...they have been since 03. the only problem they had was an initial run of them they had to replace the reverse planitary gears in...after that recall was done....i have only seen ONE in three years have issues....

but wait.....when you chevy guys go bragging about your allison tranny.....go do your homework....casue ford is running one too.....when chevy bought that contract from allison...they bought the rights to have the exclusive use of the allison NAME in all light duty trucks....but guess what.....ALLISON BUILT AND DESIGNED THE TORQUESHIFT.......so guess that makes that "puny" tranny seem a bunch better.....hun:cookoo:p :poke :popcorn

Also the 4r100 is not really a bad tranny. While not the best, its weak link is the TC. I've put many hard miles on mine and haven't had the slightest hint at a problem. If you want to knock transmission, knock the true weak tranny.......Dodge's auto
