I pulled the dash out to try to fix the odometer light when I went back to start the truck the fuel gauge reads bone dry and it won't start I know I have fuel when I shut it off I had a 3/4 tank and it's not sitting in a puddle of fuel right now, I tried priming it but I think it's something electronical

It's almost like the fuel pump won't pull fuel because the truck is saying it has none

Did you check your harness connections before you put everything back together?

I have a 2005 chev 2500 hd truck won't start now. I got the truck started by pumping it with fuel she started and shut her off and won't start at all now? any suggestions

You have to keep priming it til it starts running
