I was looking around for alternative fuel sources the other day and came across this website: Bluegrass Fuel Systems, LLC - Home The basic idea behind it is that you mix used oil with diesel fuel, run it through a filter and desecant that removes acids, perifins, and moisture, then burn it in your truck. I was wondering if anybody has ever used this product or something similar. I would like to hear opinions on what all of you think about this.

Is also known black diesel.
My 2 cents: Don't use it in common rail diesels...

If you care about your own health and that of others: Don't use it, you are burning all kinds of toxic
waste elements that can only be burned safely at much higher temps then those present in a combustion engine.

Way better is to go for used vegetable oil.

i've been looking at it for a while. you can run a greater concentration of it in the older trucks, the CR's you can only use 30% or so. It seems to work well for him. I dont' have any other knowledge of it though.
