You are right I wash mine like once ever few months haha. What year is that? Thought they were done with gold in 05?

and i love the color of my truck. I think they can pull of chrome or black. I was going towards black rims and powder coating my bumpers black.

I test drove an 04 lb7 that was gold. i didn't love it, but i liked it better than the pewter that it seems like 50% of these trucks are. it was definitely interesting.

sorry i'm late to the party lol.:drink i felt the same way about this truck when i bought it four years ago. i didn't like the color but it was such a good deal i couldn't pass it up. i have an arrival blue one also, i kinda like having trucks that don't look like everyone else's and, well, it's safe to say it has grown on me....

i went with the chrome look on mine with escalade handles, color matched mirror covers, chrome wheels and i left the chrome moulding strip that gmc uses. but i would have to say on a chevy, i think a black look would look really good.

here is mine. old pictures. since then i have added some LED tail lights, and i built my own bumper that is getting finished up and im trying to decide how i am going to finish it? powder coated a gloss black? line-x? not sure what to do.

i thought about it, but i sorta have the black looking going so i think black would look better. if i did the bumper i would have to do the mirrors and the handles also!

yep they are. i got them shortly after they came out because nobody else had them and BOOM there is a ton of people around here who got them. maybe a guy is better off getting a set of wheels that are old and everybody got sick of lol. truck looks good man. since you have the chrome look going you ever think about a set of aftermarket tail lights with the chrome in them?

 

i can't stand the amber in the gmc ones so i had plans to do chevy ones. i haven't seen the chrome ones. you got a link?

Thought you were asking about one of the other rigs.... exhaust is just a 14" ss tip. I expanded it just enough to almost fit over the tailpipe, heated it up & slipped it on and it's there to stay, no screws or welds. It sticks out a little more to keep soot off the right side of my nice white fifth wheel.

Mine is pewter but in the same ball park. Rarely looks like it is dirty but I keep it clean anyway.
