I recently bought a 1984 Chevy diesel with a 6.2 and have intentions to run a two stage wvo setup. Ive done alot of reading and found the Duramax engines do not like wvo for injector reasons and because the fats from veg oil gets down into the oil pan and turns it into molasses. But I'm hoping that this older engine wont give me those same problems. Does anyone have any helpful advice or even better experience with installing wvo onto the older chevy diesels? I'm also not familar with the injection system on this truck and i dont want to ruin it like the modern duramax injectors. I still have intentions of having the my motor oil tested every 500 to 1000 miles but I'd still like to hear from someone with experience with running wvo on these older diesels.
