One of my favorite experiences so far with the truck was when I trailered my boat for the first time. My route takes me through the Pine Barrens of NJ on 539 which is a single lane in each direction and a posted 55 MPH road. There are some passing zones, but they are limited in areas. Well, I was stuck behind a slow person doing barely 45, and traffic began to stack up behind me. I'm sure they all thought it was me, and I could see several people trying to pass, but they couldn't see the oncoming traffic coming. Well, I had enough of this bad situation, so I saw an opening and floored it with the boat in tow past the slowpoke. I was doing 80 before I knew it, and was pleasantly surprised with the power these trucks offer.

Pretty much my dream truck, been wanting one for years while driving my LMM's. Retired from the Army and bought the truck and camper I wanted and now enjoying the retired life.
Well I’ll show you guys my truck. I’ve always posted in the ROTM. So many other nicer trucks out there. @viper8315 I see Jersey tags on that beautiful rig! Jackson,NJ here. @hdrolling, that thing is a beast. More importantly Thank You for your service. 2004.5 2500HD CC/SB, 2" Leveling Kit, Bilsteins, STG 1 Powermax, Boost Stick, 3” MBRP Downpipe, PPE uppipes, HSP intercooler pipes, 4" MBRP Exhaust w/ 5" tip, LMM Resonator Box, Airdog LP, PCV reroute, Airbox Mod with AFE Filter, LBZ MP, Fleece Tapshifter, Edge CTS2, Mishimoto Trans Cooler, 2015+ Tow Mirrors, EFI Live Tuned by Idaho Rob
I figured I would jump in even though I'm a Noob here and my truck is new and little has been done to it that I plan on.
My truck so far:
2021 Chevy Silverado 2500HD 4X4 LTZ Crew Cab Z71
Running boards
Full window tint
Firestone Ride Rite air bags
Banks Super Gauge
More to come....but those aren't in the instructions to list.
Having only had the truck since late February, I haven't had too many experiences or created many memories. Like Viper my single best memory so far was a passing event. I was on a dark desert highway, cool wind in my hair.... I was behind a truck towing an RV on a narrow desert highway. Opportunities to pass were limited. I finally got a shot and mashed the accelerator. I was impressed by the power of the Duramax, and we were by the guy in very short order. The way the Duramax set me back in my seat reminded me of my 1970 Hemi 'cuda from my youth.
Here is my 2020 Sierra 2500HD Denali
The day I got it.
The day I put the wheels and tires on it.
Mayhem Warriors 20x9 and 35x12.50x20 Ridge Grapplers
The day I got to relax and have some cold snacks at a friends house
I love the overall power of my truck and the amazing mileage
Current mods to the truck are 4-6 Cognito NTBD, 22x12 American Force Sprint CC (Original owner said they were custom cut but that's what they look like to me), 33/12.5r22 Toyo Open Country M/T, Cognito UCA, Fox shocks, Danville s475 over stock compound turbo kit powdered green, 60% over Exergy injectors, Air Dog 150 lift pump, ARP head studs, Tuned by DMAXtuners, Built trans with billet shafts, and Trans Brace.
Favorite aspect of the truck is that it is a long bed. After selling my last truck I decided that the next truck would be a long bed. I like the fact that I can fit my outlander xmr in the bed with the tailgate closed. If I wanted to I can add a toolbox and still have a full size bed.
Bought the truck a few years ago for pretty cheap, and have been fixing it up along the way.
Some mods: HTT Promax turbo, ARP headstuds, tuned by Duramax Tuner, Built transmission.
Some of my favorite memories are the trips this truck has taken my girlfriend and I on, most recently Valley of Fire in Nevada.
My favorite aspects of the truck are a comfortable ride, quiet engine (Coming from a Cummins owner!) and how the truck just keeps going.
Hey Ya'll, Here is my 08 LMM LTZ Z71 with 322k on her. Stock charger w/ Stock Injectors 476hp w/ 1129tq on a 8k weighted dyno. BDS 6" lift, Fox 2.0s, 37" Nitto RGs, 20" Hostels, Kryptonite full front end, Built trans, Full exhaust w/ axel dump, 4.56 gears, AirDog 4G II 165, PPE Deep oil pan, PPE Deep Trans pan, BD Rear Diff Cover, WCF Stage II Intake, Y Bridge, 3" full track, Mishimoto intercooler and radiator, RH steering box, Amp steps, Full Wrap, and Fusion bumpers front and back. Looking to do a full SoCal build when the motor decides to go. Cheers 'Merica
Hello, I'll add mine.
2021 Chevy Silverado 2500HD 4X4 LTZ Crew Cab Z71
Texas Edition
The only thing that I have added was the bed cover. It had everything else. I have only had it Since the end of Dec. We have only taken a short 400 mile trip in it. My family was super comfortable and I got just above 20MPG AVG over 400 Hwy miles. I love this Truck.
2018 GMC 2500HD All-Terrain. I bought new April of 2018 and she is not even broken in yet with 19k on the odo.
Mods: 4.5" BDS lift with Fox shocks and steering stabilizer, 20x9 Fuel Hardline wheels, 35" Mickey Thompson ATZP3 tires, Fab Fours Matrix bumper, Rigid Radiance series 30" light bar and 3" pods all controlled with factory switch, Banks Derringer w/Idash tuner in a Block8head console pod, Banks intake and monster exhaust, 20% tint, Tuxedo Prox15 tonneau.
As for favorite moment or memory. Every time I walk into my garage and I see it sitting there. It puts a smile on my face knowing where I came from and where I am now are two vastly different worlds. Just because you are delt very bad cards in life at an early age does not mean you have to play that hand. You work hard you will get that pot.

I thought I would make a post here to sort of track what issues I've had with my truck's HVAC systems recently. It all started when I dimmed my dash lights with the dimmer switch. Everything worked exactly as it should until I put the switch all the way to the bottom of it's range and the dash...

More than likely your cabin temperature sensor above your left ear is bad. You can try resetting the HVAC control unit like I did in the thread if you have dual zone AC. If you have the manual dual zone then I have no idea. Good luck.
This is the most active I seen a Rig of the month thread in a long time. Glad to see with everything going on we still have our trucks. Gonna be hard to pick a favorite here. To everyone that submitted so far. Damn boys your rigs are sweet!
The moment he posted I knew I was done. I even have to vote for his truck. 😝 Well, maybe May will work out...lol. All nice trucks here for sure...
