After reading some stuff on here, I'm going to give one a try.

Anxious to see your review. I had one on my 6.6L and was happy with it. I think the 3.0L has better throttle response and haven’t considered one…yet.

Hello and welcome to the forum.
I recommend the use of the "ignore" function for any users who you don't want to hear from. Don't even bother arguing with some people on here, seriously, you're wasting your breath.

Happy user of a Pedal Monster here for several years. You can go from mild to wild. Whatever you want.

Also, there is a low speed trim option.

Let's say you love "City 5", but want a little less boost off the line. That is where you use the low speed trim.

Of course, the higher you go has a negative impact on fuel mileage and Regen frequency.

With that said, there is a happy medium to be found. I'm at City 3, with some low speed trim dialed in. Dead pedal is gone.

Another positive reply, Thank you. It appears I have some learning to do. I will seek out those with answers. Thanks again

At the request of the OP,

I'm cleaning up this thread from some comments.

If you don't have personal experience using a pedal monster or personal custom tuning experience, then move along.

Enough with the bashing just to bash a product.

As far as the remarks of what some tuners do...
They say not to use a pedal monster because they build in pedal boosts into their tunes.

Absurd. So much for varied opinions on ANY subject. Just "clean up" the stuff that doesn't agree with YOU personally. That's hardly the task of a moderator.
You did the same thing with "apologizing" to Security Guy.

If the IP is too "sensitive" to hearing / reading anything opposed to the choice he made, why even post? Or maybe hs should have said "only post if you agree with my decision"?

"off topic" as the excuse. Unreal.

I moderate a few groups and would NEVER remove opinions that differed with mine.

You and Hoser went for insults.

There was not ONE insult in my responses. If my OPINIONS are "insulting", your 'moderator' reactions to hyper-sensitive whining is exactly that.
Your bias is showing clearly. Or is this protecting an advertiser?

Banks is not an advertiser, and I paid for all my stuff out of my pocket at regular price.
Just to clarify, Banks is not a paid direct vendor to the forum. Their ads might be showing up as part of the targeting Google does. Out of my control or visibility, and any proceeds go back to Vertical Scope. None of the moderators are paid here. We're all volunteers.
No bias here, other than I have actual feedback of using a product that improves the day to day driveability of my truck. This aligns with the majority of the other people on the forum who have actually purchased and use the product.
In fact, I have made it very public several times that I would have only purchased the Pedal Monster, not the Derringer after driving the truck with both of them installed.
Guess I'll just continue to drive my truck with "Cinderella mode".

I’m curious about your experience with the Pedal Monster / Derringer combo. I have a NIB Pedal Monster and am waiting for the back-ordered Derringer to arrive so I can install the entire setup. What were your thoughts on the Derringer?

"You don’t remove posts at the requests of other members" he can when he reads where this is going. (trolling)

There was no "trolling" - there were OPINIONS contrary to yours and Tims. I'm aware of NO moderators on any page that remove differing opinions, most especially at the "request of the IP".

There were no "insults". Insults would have been things like "hypersensitive snowflake that wants the bad people to go away". Nobody said that.

This isn't the place to make a post looking for nothing more than affirmation.

Happy user of the pedal monster here ! It does what it says it will and is easily removable for any reasons necessary ! Goes well with my dash !

The reverse safety feature is huge, it will revert to stock in reverse so you don’t slam your truck through a trailer when backing up.

Thanks, that helps. My truck is primarily a tow vehicle for my camper; although it’s relatively light, I was looking for the power increase that the Derringer advertises. Glad to know that it makes an appreciable difference. Bought the whole set as a kit from Banks (PM, Derringer and two iDash with the dual pod) but the Derringer was delayed in production. Just gonna wait and do one big install once it arrives.

Just a general FYI, for towing I believe it's suggested to stay at a setting of 3 or below on the Derringer.
